Learn How Exercise Can Boost Your Child's Confidence Levels

If you remember anything about your schooling years, then you know that there were more than a few times where you felt like you have no confidence in yourself or your abilities. As you can likely remember, this probably stopped you from enjoying some pretty great adventures and meeting new friends. One of the biggest challenge which students face in school is the fear of being outed as ‘not knowing’. That is, being scared that they will be asked to perform an activity which they haven’t done before and one which they may not succeed at during their first time. Spaces like Stretch N Grow provide a space where children work together to perform even simple tasks, such as throwing a ball around the room to each other or trying to keep a parachute afloat. While these activities may seem small, performing them in a supportive environment gives children the confidence to not only try, but to realize that if they don’t succeed the first time, it’s not the end of the world, with kids around them supporting them to try again. These are the kind of experience which give youngsters the confidence to join new sports in the school yard and meet new people through a range of new activities without worrying about what will happen if they don’t do a good job.
