Cooking is a great way to spend time with your children and teach them an important lesson. Use this time to also help to improve their health during Spring by introducing a new healthy food item each week. Browse your local produce store or ask for suggestions on items you can include in your regular meals which will help to give your children’s bodies a boost.
Exercise and Stretch
With food and drink taken care of, consider Spring to be your children’s fitness season. Look for local sports group in your area which they can join or speak with their school about any children's fitness programs they have available and be sure to encourage them to join! Something as simple as the family walking around the block a few times after dinner can be a great way to improve your fitness and a great spring challenge!
